Description

This is considered a Trace Fossil. Trace Fossils are the preserved records of biological activity rather than the physical remains of an organism itself.

There are times when Trace Fossils can tell us more about the creature than mere bones can tell us. Such can be the case with Dino Doo.

This Fossil Dinosaur Coprolite Poo is such a fossil. Because generally it is not thought of as Dinosaur poo this type of coprolite is thought of as turtle poo.

These were found in the Mahajanga Formation of Madagascar. There are several locations around the world where it can be found. But again it is not definitive what creature left it.

Generally called dino doo or dino poo this is a unique fossil. These fossil, when cut open sometimes reveal what type of creature it is. If cut open and plant seeds or plant material is found, it is a Herbivore. But if cut open and small pieces of bone are found, it is a carnivor.

We have many of these Fossil Dinosaur Coprolite Poo specimens. You will receive the biggest and best specimen when you order. They will come in this handsome glass topped leatherette collectors case 4 1/4 by 5 /14 inches.
