This Fossil Fish Charcuterie Board is made of wood and real fossil covered in acrylic. But these ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE and ARE NOT TO BE CUT ON. Because they are acrylic they must be handled with care. They are easily cleaned with mild soap and water.

This Knightia Fossil Fish has not been retouched, painted, enhanced in any way. Because this is the way they look when they come out of the ground, they present very well. Because the area around Kemmerer is well known for the fossil fish it has become a very popular place to dig for fossils. The Fossil Knightia Fish is fully articulated and has been immaculately preserved. The original lake was over 900 square miles but only several Buttes are still producing such wonderful specimens. Because of type of rock and the preservation nearly all the fossils from this location have great detail.
