Description
This is an authentic Fossil Dinosaur Bone from a Thecelosaurus. It is a Chevron which is part of the tail section.
The vertebra was recovered from a dig site north of Belle Fourche, South Dakota in 2025.
This Fossil Thecelosaurus Chevron is a caudal, meaning it is from the tail of this Dinosaur. The Chevron is just under the caudal vertebra and is an anchor for tail muscles. This is a Cretaceous Theropod Dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation.
The Hell Creek Formation is well know for thousands of Dinosaur remains, but the preservation is not always exceptional. This one is 3 1/4 inches long. It is fragile but it is presented in this Handsome 4 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch glass topped leatherette collectors case.
The Fossil Thecelosaurus Chevron has been meticulously prepared and stabilized for presentation.
