Great Bison Tooth

This prehistoric creature once roamed the lands of Northern Florida until about 21,000 – 30,000 years ago.  Much larger than modern day bison, the Bison of the Pleistocene could measure up to 8 1/5 feet to the shoulder.

This fossilized Bison tooth measures 1.70 inches by 1.00 inch and is missing half the tooth.  Beautiful detail in the worn enamel.
