Description

Here is a really nice sub adult SPINOSAURUS tooth.

Spinosaurus is the largest known carnivorous dinosaur. Larger than T-Rex he did not live on the same continent. They are known from remains found in Egypt and Morocco.

Spinosaurus teeth are fairly common finds in deposits in Morocco. As dinosaurs ate they would shed teeth and new ones would grow to replace them hence they are called spitter teeth as they were continuously being replaced.

It is believed that Spinosaurus primarily fed on fish due to the conical shape of its teeth and the elongated crocodile like snout.

This tooth is 1 3/4 inches long and displays good enamel. It comes in this glass topped 4 x 5 black leatherette collectors case.
