Olenellus, genus of trilobites common in, but restricted to, Cambrian rocks and thus a useful guide fossil for the Early Cambrian. Olenellus had a well-developed head, large and crescent like eyes, and a poorly developed, small tail.
This specimen is in matrix measuring 2.23 inches by 2.52 inches and is only .88 of an inch thick. This partial trilobite measures .77 inches by .72 inches. This is an exquisite trilobite and a great piece to add to any rock collection.
