Exceptional ELDREDGEOPS from the famous Devonian fossil bed of Penn Dixie Quarry, Windom Shale Formation in Hamburg, New York. These phacopid trilobites exhibit exquisite detail. They have been meticulously prepared using micro air abrasive technology.
The ELDREDGEOPS trilobites are normally found in descend numbers in the Windom layer however they do also show up in other layers within the quarry. Though many have been found they are becoming more scarce as the quarry is being excavated and the zones are “playing out”. Now is the time to enhance your collection with Penn Dixie Trilobites.

This specimen is 7/8 inches long. It sits on an irregularly shaped piece of gray shale matrix 3 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches tall. The detail on the exoskeleton is exceptional.
