This is a quite rare and very desirable trilobite from the Cambrian Period, the “Age of Trilobites.” They lived, thrived, and became extinct Millions of years before the age of dinosaurs! Trilobites spanned a time that covered 5 periods spanning over 300 million years of Earth’s history. This was found and prepared by trilobite expert Markus Marin. Because of his vast knowledge and skill these Two Olenellus terminatus Trilobites are prepared beautifully.
Markus is known world over because of his knowledge of these fossils. He has been digging trilobites and other fossils around the country and the world. Because of some of his finds were so special, he has published many papers on the subject of trilobites.

Olenellus, genus of trilobites common in, but restricted to, Cambrian rocks and thus a useful guide fossil for the Early Cambrian. Olenellus had a well-developed head, large and crescent like eyes, and a poorly developed, small tail.
These are nice trilobites and a great piece to add to any rock collection.
