Fossil Teeth
Fossil Teeth of animals are some of the best-preserved specimens due to the fact that tooth enamel is much harder than bones. In many prehistoric creatures’ teeth were constantly being lost and replaced. Many teeth that are found are called “spitters” as they were broken off during feeding. Rarely teeth are found that have roots but that indicated the creature died and the teeth fell out of the sockets. In these cases, the skull could be nearby or has long since decayed away. We offer many types of fossil teeth from Dinosaurs, Ice-Age Mammals, and more. Check this page frequently as our selection changes.
