This is a quality Brachiopod – sea shell and a trilobite head section from the Hamilton Group of New York. This is a great fossil that exhibits superb detail and it consists of a brachiopod that still has some of the pearl coloring.
Here is a very desirable Brachiopod with Pearlessence from the Devonian Period. These animals lived, thrived, and became extinct Millions of years before the age of dinosaurs! This was found and prepared by fossil expert Markus Martin. Because of his vast knowledge and skill these animals from New York are prepared beautifully.
Markus is known world over because of his knowledge of fossils. Because he has been digging in the deposits of New York for many years and has a vast knowledge of these fossils. This one also has a head section of an Eldredgeops trilobite. But it is very small and only a head section.
This is a Devonian Brachiopod with Pearlessence and a trilobite head for one price.
These are small but the detail is outstanding. The Brachiopod with Pearlessence is 1/2 inch on a piece of gray matrix. The trilobite head is tiny at 3/16. They are presented in a brown cardboard box with a top and the fossils are set in high density foam.
